Looking for a quick, impactful way to volunteer in Fort Lauderdale? Join Everyday Advocates on Saturday, October 24 for a two-hour community cleanup and neighborhood inspection in Fort Lauderdale’s Historic Sistrunk.
Working in small teams, volunteers will walk the neighborhood to pick up litter, identify basic safety hazards, and help keep our local streets clean and accessible.
What You’ll Be Doing

Clean Up Neighborhood Streets: Help pick up trash before it reaches local storm drains and waterways.

Report Safety & Street Issues: Note everyday hazards like clogged storm drains, broken streetlights, or damaged sidewalks so they can be fixed by local agencies.

Friendly Team Challenges: Connect with fellow volunteers through quick, fun scavenger hunt prompts along the route!

What to Know Before You Go

Registration & Youth Policy
All volunteers must complete a registration form.

Minors (Under 18): Must have a parent/guardian complete their portion of the form and must be accompanied by an adult.

Accompanying Adults: Must fill out their own separate registration form.
