Love Where You Live
We identify, report, and resolve the everyday issues on your block.
Everyday Mission
Everyday Advocates is a 501(c)(3) non-profit serving South Florida. Our mission is to identify, report, and resolve everyday community issues. We deliver relentless, hands-on advocacy, empower people to speak up, and serve as a persistent partner to ensure government agencies and businesses do their jobs.
Our process is simple:
- Identify issues that have been overlooked, ignored, or stuck in a queue.
- Report problems directly to the agencies and businesses responsible for fixing them.
- Resolve issues by collaborating with community members, businesses, and agencies until a solution is achieved.
- Empower community members to be advocates for themselves and their communities through volunteer opportunities, educational initiatives, and community events.

Everyday Solutions
Inspections, Reports & Resolutions
Our team walks neighborhoods, alleys, and business districts, documenting hazards and everyday problems. In addition to the rigorous reporting produced by our field teams, we also prioritize requests from community members who need help. Some don’t know where to report issues, others have been waiting weeks for a resolution, and many simply hope someone else will take action.
Community Education Hub
We research, compile, and share practical guides and resources that empower you to solve problems, access services, and improve their communities.
Volunteer & Community Events
We empower people to speak up and take action to make their communities better. From local coffee-shop gatherings where neighbors voice concerns, to hands-on community cleanups, and family-friendly game-based neighborhood inspections, we create accessible opportunities for individuals, families, and organizations to actively improve the places they live.

Caleb Merendino
Director of Community Action
Caleb’s background as an EMS responder and 911 dispatcher instilled in him the ability to think fast, stay organized, and execute solutions under extreme pressure. He applies that same tactical focus to community advocacy, refusing to let a neighbor, or an entire neighborhood, be ignored. As a hands-on problem solver, he is dedicated to protecting people, animals, and the environment.
